People from the Middle Atlantic region through Southern New England will wake up to several inches of snow by Friday morning. Some of the major metro areas along the Eastern Seaboard, like Philadelphia, New York City and Boston will see geneally four to seven inches. Some locations will see eight or nine inches. Locally heavier amounts are possible in southeastern New England, including Cape Cod. Conditions will improve rapidy by Friday morning as the storm continues to slide well out into the Atlantic.

Meanwhile, across the South, look for rain and thnderstorms to move eastward along the Gulf of Mexico region overnight and into the Florida Peninsula on Friday.
