Jeb
Shock 'n Awe thunderstorm raked Woodbridge VA. A strong thunderstorm developed just NW of my backyard then proceeded to rake my region with torrential rain whipped by 25 to 35 mph winds and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. It sounded like somebody was calling in precisely targeted artillery strikes on my position lol. The lightning was brilliant and vivid and frequent, and the winds were whipping the torrential rain around so severely that forward visibilities were effectively cut to around 200 yards in any direction. We picked up another 2 inches of rain.
