In the eastern Pacific Ocean, Air recon found strong enough winds and intensification to classify Tropical Storm Adrian as a Hurricane. The hurricane continues to churn toward central America. A hurricane warning will be in effect along the coast of El Salvador and a tropical storm warning will go into effect for the Pacific coast of Guatemala. Additionally, a tropical storm watch is in effect for the Pacific coast of Honduras. Residents of Guatelmala, El Salvador and Honduras should prepare for torrential rains, mudslides and significant flooding as the storm continues to move northeastward. The lead elements of the heavy rains have reached the coasts of Guatemala and El Salvador.
