Heavy rain in some spots

6:08 a.m. ET ET Sat.,Nov.13,2004

Tom Moore, Sr. Meteorologist, The Weather Channel

A sheared and very disorganized area of disturbed weather continues from off the northeast tip of Venezuela to just east of the Lesser Antilles with a decreasing threat for heavy rain over the islands. A persistent northeasterly flow and energy aloft have combined to produce locally heavy rain and some flooding over Puerto Rico. Another disturbance near the Cape Verde Islands is producing locally heavy rain. No tropical development is expected, however.
