Jeb Posted November 17, 2004 Report Share Posted November 17, 2004 Tropical Storm Muifa Strengthens 1:30 p.m. ET ET Tue.,Nov.16,2004 Kevin Roth, Senior Meteorologist, The Weather Channel Tropical Storm Muifa strengthened as it swirled off the east coast of the Philippines Tuesday morning. Top winds were up to 65 mph. Some additional strengthening may occur before Muifa makes landfall Wednesday morning (Eastern Standard Time). Heavy rainfall is still the main threat from the tropical storm since it will be interacting with the Philippines for 24 to 48 hours.
