Low pressure southwest of the Azores

An area of low pressure continues to churn about 1100 miles southwest of the western Azores. The area remains poorly organized and conditions remain unfavorable for tropical development at this time. This area will continue to be monitored as conditions may become more favorable over the next few days. Otherwise, the rest of the Atlantic and Pacific tropical basins are tranquil.
