ET 1/10/2005 Tom Moore, Sr. Meteorologist, The Weather Channel Up to 30 more inches of snow may fall by Tuesday night around Lake Tahoe. This is an area that has picked up over 200 inches (above 7000') over the past two weeks. More heavy rain is in store for cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. Flooding and mudslides around Los Angeles continue and many roads are closed. The bridge on highway 101 over the Ventura River is closed with fears that the road may flood over. Winter storm warnings remain in effect for many locations. Warnings currently are posted for the mountains of northern California, the Sierra Nevada, the mountains of Southern California above 7000 feet, the higher ranges of southern Nevada, the mountains of Utah and the ranges in western Colorado.
