Today we experienced some spam at the Eastern US Weather Forums wiki. The spammer, 66.246.218.107, was Blocked and the appropriate authorities were immediately contacted. I expect he/she will develop sockpuppets (e.g., he/she will get on another computer) and attempt to spam the EUSWX wiki again. No prob if they do so, the spam can be reverted in a millisecond and the offending IP Blocked indefinitely. Wikis are marvelous applications for website development. Just wanted to scribble a brief note about today's EUSWX wiki spam. Its no biggie but I love to keep detailed records for the authorities just in case this individual is into more than trolling other peoples' websites with annoying spam. The EUSWX wiki is a MediaWiki wiki application, the same as Wikipedia and MetaWiki and Wikimedia.
