Over the past 24 hours, this area of low pressure has continued to build showers and thunderstorms and thus has become better organized. If it continues to organize, a subtropical or tropical cyclone may form this weekend. Otherwise, the rest of the Atlantic and Pacific tropical basins are tranquil.
